Try searching ebay for Raspberry Pi, there are plenty on there. I have stock ready to ship as do a few other online stockists, although avoid RS as they have a 14 week wait so you wont get it until Christmas.

It never will, you can buy USB dongles though. The RasPi will not have any further hardware changes.

Total for everything needed to get a Pi running comes to less than £50 including around £5 shipping... Mine was no more than £50. It depends how far you want to go, add on wifi, wireless kb & mouse, fancy case (the box it comes in works fine as a nice cardboard case) then throw some more cash at it...
But point is, the essentials including the Pi comes to less than £50.
Chances are you already have a kb & mouse, usb charger, spare SD card etc. anyway (I did)
